Ashley H. White, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR –Ashley H. White is an award-winning director, fight & intimacy director, and teaching artist, with fifteen years of professional theatre experience. She brings a unique eye to her work, striving to promote honesty, safety, and excitement in a visually striking and effective way. Known for her energy, focus, and entrepreneurial spirit, Ashley began her professional training in New York City in 2003, and is constantly studying new techniques. A lifelong student, she strives to enhance and build her skill-set to always push to think outside of the box and grow. She regularly travels to work and to learn, and is always open to new opportunities.
Recently, Ashley completed the prestigious International Choreography & Pedagogy Intensive with Intimacy Directors International in partnership with The O’Neill Theater Center.
She is the founder of SCDallas (est 2012), North Texas’ only open resource for Stage Combat & Movement Instruction, and acts as the group’s President. SCDallas has over 600 members, is host to an annual Regional Workshop (The Lonestar Smash), and mounts regularly scheduled “Fight Nights” and workshops.
She is the Artistic Director of the award-winning IMPRINT Theatreworks, coined “Dallas’ Hottest New Theatre Company” by Broadway World. IMPRINT is in its second season and has already garnered praise and awards, including 12 DFW Critics Forum Awards and 40 Column Award Nominations for its inaugural season.
As a Teaching Artist, Ashley is proud to be on faculty at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater. She has also partnered to teach with many training organizations, including Dallas Comedy House, STAGE, WaterTower Theater, and more. She teaches and works with theater departments across the state, including Texas A&M Commerce, Eastfield College, The University of North Texas, and many High Schools.
Ashley has been recognized for her directing and fight & intimacy work, most recently winning three outstanding direction awards as well as a design contribution award for outstanding fight & intimacy direction from the DFW Theater Critics Forum in 2018. She is certified as an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and is a member of Intimacy Directors International.
Kyle Igneczi, MANAGING DIRECTOR –
Kyle Igneczi is known for his work onstage throughout DFW and has earned multiple DFW Theatre Critics’ Forum and Column Awards.
Having toured the world with Sesame Workshop and The USO, some of the most recognized names in family entertainment, Igneczi brings a wealth of practical experience from the nonprofit world and has been serving in the DFW community since 2015. He joined the IMPRINT team in January of 2019.
